11. The Beginning of the Unpleasant Rainy Season 
Most of the things in the house get fungus. The clothes in the wardrobe also get fungus and it becomes stain. So as much as I can I have to keep those clothes out of the wardrobe to keep them in the drier air than in the robe.
In this season, water gets into the telephone lines, then telephones become out of order. There are flooding here and there on the road. Sometimes the level of flood water goes higher than our knees.
Fortunately, most of the roads are not paved and the densities of houses are not as much as Japan, those flooding water permeates into the ground quickly. It's not so serious.
The rain we had yesterday was very heavy.
I arranged some staff to go to buy vinyl sheet to cover the glassless windows. The project is refurbishing the building, so we have many windows which glasses were temporarily removed. And at the floor above we are refurbishing British embassy are opened. We are not allowed any leakage of rain water to the floor below.
If there was a little leakage, we would be claimed serious compensation.
